GDPR Commitment

Effective date: July 16, 2026

TelzLink Telecom Inc. is committed to handling personal data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for our customers and the people they communicate with. This page summarizes how GDPR applies to our services and what we offer customers who are themselves controllers.

1. Roles

For website visitors and account holders, TelzLink acts as a data controller. For the content of our customers' communications — contact lists, call recordings, transcripts — the customer is the controller and TelzLink processes that data on the customer's instructions as a processor.

2. Data processing terms

Customers processing EU/EEA personal data through the services can request a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) incorporating standard contractual clauses via our contact page.

3. Data minimization and retention controls

The platform is designed so customers can operate with minimal personal data: recording is opt-in per account, retention periods are configurable, and call detail records contain only the metadata needed for billing and legal compliance.

4. Data subject rights

We respond to verified access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection requests within GDPR timelines. Where we act as processor, we route requests to the responsible customer and assist them in fulfilling their obligations.

5. International transfers

Where personal data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards, including standard contractual clauses, and apply supplementary technical measures such as encryption in transit and private-network isolation.

6. Customer responsibilities

Customers calling into the EU/EEA remain responsible for their own GDPR obligations as controllers — including lawful basis for outreach, call-recording consent, and honoring objections. TelzLink provides the platform controls; customers set and enforce their policies.
